Johnny Knoxville (real name: Philip John Clapp) is an American actor, professional wrestler, stuntman, writer and producer. He became famous for his role as the co-creator and star of the MTV reality show Jackass. The show ran for three seasons from 2000 to 2001.
Johnny and his co-stars returned for the first installment of the Freaks movie series a year later. The second and third parts were released in 2006 and 2010, respectively. The first film in the series is Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa (2013) with a storyline in which Johnny played his Jackass character Irving Zissman. Jackass Forever was released in 2022 and is said to be the final installment of the Jackass franchise.
